Times are changing and so are we. For now.
We are currently not offering our elective blood work, nutrition IV therapy and vitamin shots services so we can bring safe, convenient, appointment-only COVID-19 testing to those who want it.
Read our How It Works page before scheduling your appointment. Show up for your appointment 5-minutes early. Wait in your car. Call/text us when you arrive. We will let you know when we have prepared the area for you.
No doctor's note. No waiting in line.
COVID-19 RAPID, PCR, AND ANTIBODY TESTING
To check if you have an active COVID-19 infection, we offer both a Rapid Antigen test and a PCR test. To see if you have COVID-19 antibodies, we offer both a rapid blood test and a blood test that is sent to the lab for processing. We test babies and children as long as a parent or guardian is with them during testing.
The Rapid Antigen test provides results in 10 to 15 minutes. The PCR test is sent to our partner lab for processing. Both tests are nasal swabs and we may also swab your throat during the PCR test. You do not need a doctor's note or be symptomatic to be tested.
The Antibody blood test is for asymptomatic individuals who want to know if they may have had the virus and now have the antibodies.
Do not show up without an appointment!
APPOINTMENT ONLY TESTING
ALL COVID-19 and Antibody testing at RapidTestMe is done by appointment only. NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.
If you show up as a walk-in, we will not test you. This is for the safety of all people, including our staff, and we require information to be provided when booking online. We often have appointments the same day.
How we keep you (and us!) safe
WAITING IN YOUR CAR
We are making every effort to prevent the spread of this infectious disease. Testing is done one person at a time and by appointment only.
Park in the parking lot to the right of 2780 Morris Avenue (near the funeral home and on the side opposite Valley Bank). Call/text us when you arrive at 908-809-3381 and then wait in your car until we have the area wiped down and prepared for you. The RapidTestMe entrance in the front of the building near Morris Avenue. For the safety of others, do not park in the back of the building.
Testing is quick but a little uncomfortable
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Please wear a mask and be prepared to show your ID at the testing area. If you are being tested for Coronavirus (PCR or Rapid Antigen), the nurse will swab the inside of your nose. She may also swab the back of your throat if you are having a PCR test. Both tests are uncomfortable but take only a few seconds.
If you are being tested for the antibodies, the nurse will draw blood from your arm (antibody test that will go to the lab) or perform a finger prick (rapid antibody test only).
