STD PANELS AND TESTS
If you feel like you could have contracted an STD, your instinct may be to get tested immediately, but testing done too early can cause inaccurate results. Each STD has its own unique “incubation period,” which you must out wait in order to get accurate results.
STD Panel #1
Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis
Collection: Swab
Pre-test: Drink plenty of water.
Incubation period: Minimum, 1 week (Incubation period for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is approximately 1 week. Trichomoniasis incubation can range from 5 to 28 days so, for accuracy, you may want to wait one month to be tested.)
Typical lab results: 48 to 72 hours
Treatment: All three can be treated at RapidTestMe.

Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, HIV I-IV, Syphilis
Collection: Blood and swab
Pre-test: Drink plenty of water.
Incubation period: Minimum, 2 weeks (Incubation period for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is approximately 1 week and early detection of HIV RNA is 9 to 11 days. Trichomoniasis incubation can range from 5 to 28 days so, for accuracy, you may want to wait longer to be tested.)
Typical lab results: 48 to 72 hours
Treatment: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Trichomoniasis can be treated at RapidTestMe. If you receive positive results for another test, we can provide a referral.

Incubation period: Minimum, 4 weeks (Incubation period for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is approximately 1 week and early detection of HIV RNA is 9 to 11 days. Trichomoniasis incubation can range from 5 to 28 days and Herpes 4 to 6 weeks so, for accuracy, you may want to wait a full month to be tested.)
Typical lab results: 48 hours (Herpes and Hepatitis B and C results may take up to 5 days.)
Treatment: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Trichomoniasis can be treated at RapidTestMe. If you receive positive results for another test, we can provide a referral.
