Schedule your appointment online
COVID-19 Rapid Antigen and PCR testing appointments are 10 minutes. Antibody blood test appointments are 15 minutes. If you cannot walk to the testing area, please call 908-809-3381 and we can come to your car.
We test babies and children as long as a parent or guardian gives consent and is with them during testing.
Pay the RapidTestMe service fee online

Add a Rapid Antibody blood test to any appointment for $50.
We do not take insurance for our fees. We will email you a receipt that you can submit to your insurance.
The lab will bill you or your insurance (not for rapid tests)
If you use insurance, they should cover your lab fees. If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, the lab will send you a bill. Note: If you are uninsured, your lab fees may be covered by a government grant. You can contact BioReference Labs for more information.
Self-pay lab fees (billed by the lab)
PCR test: $100
Antibody test: $55
If you choose to submit your lab fees to insurance, your insurance company will be charged the full price of the labs.
Parking and waiting for your appointment
Please park on Potter Avenue right of the building near Morris Avenue.
For everyone's safety, wait in your car. Call/text us at 908-809-3381 when you arrive and we will let you know when to come over. Our staff needs time to wipe down and prepare the area for you.
If you are running late, please call us at 908-809-3381.
During the test
Wear a mask to the testing area and show your ID to the nurse.
The PCR and Rapid Antigen tests are both nasal swabs. If you are doing a PCR test, the nurse may also swab your throat to get enough specimen. Both tests are uncomfortable but take only a few seconds.
The COVID-19 Antibody and Rapid Antibody tests are blood tests. The Antibody test that will go to the lab is a blood draw and the Rapid Antibody test is a finger prick.
Receive your results
Rapid Antigen and Rapid Antibody results take 10 to 15 minutes, typically while you wait. We will call you if you leave before the results come in.
Both the PCR and antibody (non-rapid) tests are sent to the lab for processing. PCR test results are currently coming in from 2 to 3 days depending on the lab's workload. Antibody blood test results usually take 1 to 2 days.
We encourage you to sign up for BioReference's patient portal so you can check your results at your convenience. (Note: We have no control over the lab turnaround time.)
ALL POSITIVE CASES ARE REPORTED TO YOUR COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
