Coronavirus Testing

RapidTestMe brings safe, convenient, appointment-only Coronavirus testing to NJ Car. Testing will take place in the parking lot, in your car, at your appointment time. Please have your ID ready to show.
Schedule Online
Read the information on this page before scheduling your appointment. You do not need a doctor's note but will need a doctor's name and fax. Show up no more than 10 minutes early and wait in your car.
Get Tested
Show your ID to the nurse. She will then swab your throat and your nose. You must wear a face mask and follow the nurse's instructions for lifting the mask. You can leave after being tested.
Get Your Results
RapidTestMe will contact you with your results. Typically, results are in within 3 to 5 days depending on the lab's workload. You can also check your patient portal or call the lab's 24-hour hotline.
Testing will take place in your car.
APPOINTMENT-ONLY TESTING
We take your safety and that of our staff very seriously. Testing is done one person at a time and by appointment only. No doctor's order is required but you should provide a doctor's name and fax number that you would like to receive your results.
Please show up no more than 10 minutes before your appointment and park in one of the designated spots. STAY IN YOUR CAR. We will test you in your car.
Testing is quick but a little uncomfortable
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Please wear a mask if you have one. If not, we will provide one. You must show your ID to be tested. Since you are being tested for Coronavirus, the nurse will swab the back of your throat and the inside of your nose with a sterile, soft swab. Both tests are uncomfortable but take only a few seconds.
Note: Do not touch the nurse, the swab, or the tube during the test. As soon as the test is completed, you can leave.
When we know, you'll know
LAB TEST RESULTS
We will contact you when your results are in which typically take 3 to 5 days, depending on the lab's workload. (We have no control over the lab turnaround time.) We will email you your results soon after they are in.
